Fino Payments Bank CEO Rishi Gupta Gets Bail in GST Case, Bank Clarifies No Direct Link
Fino Payments Bank vide SEBI disclosure informed that Hon’ble Special Judge for Economic Offences, Nampally, Hyderabad has granted the bail to Mr. Rishi Gupta, MD & CEO of the Bank on March 26, 2026.
The Bank Further reiterated that the ongoing investigation relates to certain program managers associated with multiple banks including the Bank and does not relate to the Bank’s GST compliance. Further, the Bank will continue to fully cooperate with the authorities.
Notably, the Bank continues to witness healthy momentum in its core business, reflected in a sustained increase in deposits and growth in referral assets, reinforcing the underlying strength of its operating model. The Bank reiterates its commitment to strong governance practices, regulatory adherence, and transparency. The Bank’s operations remain stable and uninterrupted, and it shall continue to serve its customers and stakeholders in the normal course of business.
