Candidates must have the required qualifications for Bureau of Indian Standards Recruitment 2023 as indicated below-

For Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Textile Engineering-

• The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent with not less than 60% marks in aggregate [fifty percent for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes].
• The candidate must have a valid GATE score of 2021/2022/2023. The GATE score must be valid as of 03.11.2023.

For Agriculture Science-

• The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture and a Master’s Degree with not less than 60% marks in aggregate [fifty percent for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes] in any of the following sub-disciplines:

1. Agronomy
2. Soil Sciences/ Soil Science and Agriculture Chemistry
3. Agriculture Entomology/ Entomology
4. Agricultural Chemicals/Chemistry

• The candidate must have a valid ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF(Ph.D) – 2023 examination Scorecard in any of the above sub-disciplines.

Salary for Bureau of Indian Standards Recruitment 2023:

Based on the official notification of the Bureau of Indian Standards Recruitment 2023, the chosen candidates will be given a monthly salary on Level 10 as per the 7th CPC.

The selected candidates for Bureau of Indian Standards Recruitment 2023 will be engaged for a probation period of 02 years. The place of posting will be anywhere in India.

Selection Process for Bureau of Indian Standards Recruitment 2023:

The selection for Bureau of Indian Standards Recruitment 2023 will be based on of GATE 2021, GATE 2022 or GATE 2023 Score and based on the ICAR AICE-JRF/ SRF (Ph.D) -2023 examination score and Interview.

• Personal Interview- Only candidates who have been shortlisted will be contacted for a personal interview. The number of candidates invited for interviews will not exceed four times the number of vacancies in the relevant discipline and category. Candidates will be allowed to take part in the Personal Interview process only when the Document Verification process has been successfully completed. The date, time, and location of the interview will be sent via e-mail.
• Final merit list– Candidates will be selected discipline-wise on the basis of merit as determined by the aggregate marks obtained by giving eighty-five percent (85%) weightage to GATE Score/ ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF(Ph.D) – 2023 Marks and 15 percent (15%) weightage to the marks obtained in the interview.
