CA Criticizes ICAI’s Exam Reforms, Calls for Quality Over Quantity VSV Dairies recently posted on X (formerly known as Twitter); he added, "The ICAI council members, acting like mini Tughluqs gone madder than mad, are butchering our sacred CA future!" The user jokingly called the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI ) "mini Tughluqs." He said that ICAI is planning "monthly CA mela exams." He also mocked that ICAI is acting as if the demand for CAs in India is growing rapidly, comparing it to mangoes that flourish during the monsoon.

The user added that ICAI should go back to holding exams only twice a year, with four subjects in each group, like before, or else, it could harm the future of the CA profession. The user also adds that ICAI’s real responsibility is to maintain the quality of chartered accountants, not to produce too many poorly trained CAs, comparing them to cheap samosas being made in bulk.
