The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India [ICAI] has elected its new Flag bearers. CA Debashis Mitra has been elected for the post of President and CA Aniket Talati has been elected for the post of Vice President.

Dr. Debashis Mitra is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, The Institute of Cost Accountants of India & The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He is a Law Graduate & a qualified Information System Auditor. He holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce. He has been awarded a Ph.D. on the topic “A Critical Study of Select Indian GAAP, US GAAP & IAS / IFRS”. He has more than 34 years of experience in Audit, Taxation, Corporate Laws & Financial Consultancy.

CA Aniket Talati

CA. Aniket Sunil Talati is a Central Council Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is a Financial executive with broad experience in all aspects of accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial management. Direct experience with real estate, financial consulting, and venture capital. Interested in early-stage startups as well as companies “on the bubble.”
