CA Professional Misconduct: ICAI Removes Names of A Chartered Accountant from Members Register The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India [ICAI] has removed the name of a Chartered Accountants from the member's register. The Disciplinary Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has found Chartered Accountants guilty of professional misconduct. Names of the a Member has been removed from the Register of ICAI. Disciplinary Committee has held CA. Raj Seckhar M S (Membership No. 200772), Macheri Manor 2, S R Layout, Near All India Radio, Coimbatore, guilty of Professional Misconduct falling within the meaning of Clause (7) of Part I of Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and consequently vide its order dated 10th December, 2019 ordered for removal of the name of aforesaid CA. Raj Seckhar M S (Membership No. 200772), from the Register of Members for a period of 01(One) month. In pursuance of the aforesaid Order of the Disciplinary Committee and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 20 of the aforesaid Act, read with Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, the name of said CA. Raj Seckhar M S (Membership No. 200772) was removed from the Register of Members for a period of 1(One) month with effect from 25th September, 2020.
