“As is the saying, “Time flies and you are the pilot”.
CA syllabus is like a mountain to climb and many of my friends are working at the moment. They might not get adequate time for preparations once the result comes out.
5 months remain for the next attempt. So heres my point:
Why not spare 1 hour daily for one subject An hour a day is much better than nothing a day. 1 hour everyday amounts to 30 hours per month. Now lets see the syllabus of ISCA. There are 8 chapters and maximum time you may require per chapter will be 4-5 hours. So with this 1 hour a day approach you can complete your ISCA syllabus in around a month and by the time January ends, you will be able to revise it twice. Dont you think, it will be beneficial
I know some of you have taken both groups and are quite confident about the results, but surety in CA results is an irony. You are never sure about the results, well thats my personal experience. There was an attempt where I was almost sure about clearing both groups, but then I flunked by 4 marks in Audit and 3 marks in ISCA. So you never know what you are going to get in results. Also, your studies wont end after you become CA. You will have to remain updated with all the amendments.
The time which you will get after the results will be quite less when compared with the syllabus especially for those who are working and will hardly get leave for exam.
Come out of your comfort zone. Yes it has been around 20 days since exams got over. You have taken your time to relax. Now get back to your dreams again.
Spare an hour everyday for the subject that bothered you the most. Increase that one hour to two hours everyday.
The good thing about ICAI is that your syllabus is available 24*7 on its website. When free in office you can always check that out. You can spare your hour every day whenever you are free.
The point is just to focus on your goals. Dont curse about the time when its lost.
Its your responsibility now to be the poilet of your dreams. If you want it badly then you will have to work for it badly.
So dont just look for excuses, work for it, spare few minutes everyday and just finish it off.
Make a proper routine and be disciplined in your approach towards it. We can get nothing from our comfort zone. We have to work for it, if we really want it.
So just start now. Time lost is an opportunity lost.”
Go for it.
