CAT 2024 Exam Strategy; Check CAT Exam Date, Syllabus and Important Tips
CAT 2024 Exam Strategy: The Common Admissions Exam is a well-known examination. This exam supports candidates in gaining admission to top management institutes. Candidates must organize their exam preparation well. The CAT syllabus covers vocabulary, reading comprehension, logical reasoning, data interpretation, and quantitative ability.
The exam is planned to be conducted online. There are 66 questions divided into three categories. There are forty minutes allotted for each section. The question paper is in English. Negative marking will only apply to multiple-choice questions (MCQs), where candidates will receive three points for each right answer and one point for each wrong answer.
To prepare for the CAT exam, candidates must go over the material and have a practical understanding of each topic. Examiners should practice giving mock tests to candidates. Since they make the weaknesses easier to identify, they are the most crucial part of the preparedness strategy. Candidates must cover the exam topic and offer topic-specific practice responses. First, provide a topic-wise mock, and then start delivering it section-by-section. Analyze the time invested, the mistakes that were fixed, and the topics that still need investigation.
