CAT Registration 2024: How to Complete the MBA Entrance Exam Application Form
CAT Registration 2024: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta opened registration for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 at 10 a.m. today i.e., 1st August 2024. Candidates who meet the requirements can register for the MBA entrance exam at iimcat.ac.in, the official website. On 24th November 2024, the CAT exam 2024 will take place in three shifts.
13th September 2024 is the deadline for applications to the admission exam. The CAT registration cost, which is Rs.2500 for non-PwD, Rs.1200 for SC, ST, and PwDs candidates, must be paid as part of the registration process.

The following are detailed guidelines for completing the CAT application form in 2024:
Step 1: Visit the official website, iimcat.ac.in, and select the ‘New Candidate Registration’ link on the homepage to find the registration button. Proceed to the register page after reading the guidelines. Enter name (as it appears on the Class 10 certificate), birthdate, nationality, email address, and mobile number. Verify both the email address and the mobile number. Select the “generate OTP” option. A redirect will take you to fill out and submit an OTP that was provided to your mobile number. Click the “verify” button to confirm the information you filled out, then submit the declaration. The registered email address and mobile number will receive login information.
Step 2: Select the “Registered Candidate Login” page and click the login button. Enter the generated credentials to log in. The candidates’ information will be shown. In the upper right corner of the dashboard, select the “Go to application form” tab.
Step 3: There will be six areas on the application form: personal information, academics, work experience, programs, test city, and payment. Before completing the information, read the instructions. You have multiple options for editing and completing the form after logging out, or you can save and proceed through each stage until the application is submitted.
Personal Information: Please fill out all fields and attach supporting documentation, such as scanned copies of your passport-size photo and signature and a valid SC, ST, OBC, EWS, or PwD certificate.
Academics: Provide information about your SSC or 10th, HSC or 12th, bachelor’s, master’s, and additional professional degrees.
Work Experience: As of July 31, 2023, indicate how many days of experience you have. After graduation, just full-time experience is required to get entered. employment experience will not be tallied for projects, internships, articleships, part-time jobs, or employment done before to graduation.
Programs: Choose your programs and preferred interview location.
Test City: Depending on your preferences, choose up to six test cities.
Payment: Check the application form before submitting payment. Pay with a credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI.
