CBI has arrested an Office Superintendent working in the office of DRM (P), WCR, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) for demanding & accepting bribe of Rs. 20,000.

CBI arrest Superintendent of Railway in alleged Bribery Case
The Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) has arrested an Office Superintendent (Settlement Section) working in the office of DRM (P), WCR, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) for demanding & accepting bribe of Rs. 20,000/- from Complainant.
A complaint was filed against the said Office Superintendent (Settlement Section) alleging that he demanded an undue advantage/bribe of Rs. 25,000/- from the complainant (a retired railway employee) for payments/issuance of his pending TPA & PPO (Pension Pay Order). It was also claimed that the accused agreed to reduce the bribe amount to Rs. 20,000/-.
The CBI set a trap for the accused while accepting a bribe of Rs. 20,000/- from the complainant. Searches were carried out on the accused's premises.
The arrested suspect is brought before the CBI Special Judge in Bhopal.
