CBI arrested MCD’s Malaria Inspector and 1 other for accepting Bribe of Rs. 10,000 The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a Malaria Inspector, MCD, West Zone, Raja Garden New DELHI and an Ex-contractual employee of MCD for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs.10,000. A complaint led to the registration of a case against an ex-contractual employee of MCD, West Zone, Raja Garden, New Delhi. It was said that the accused informed the complainant that a case had been filed against him with the NGT in New Delhi. The accused (ex-contractual employee) wanted a bribe of Rs. 10,000 from the complainant in exchange for dropping the complaint and not initiating any further legal action. CBI set a trap and captured the accused (ex-contractual employee) after accepting a bribe of Rs. 10,000 from the complainant. During the judicial proceedings, an ex-contractual employee revealed that he demanded and took the claimed bribe on behalf of the Malaria Inspector at MCD West Zone, Raja Garden, New Delhi. As a result, during subsequent trap procedures, the Malaria Inspector, MCD West Zone, Raja Garden, New Delhi, was caught for receiving a bribe/undue advantage of Rs. 10,000 from the aforementioned ex-contractual employee. Searches are being carried out at the premises of the accused persons. Investigation is continuing.
