CBI arrests Delhi Police Head Constable in Bribery Case of Rs.40,000 The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested the Head Constable of Gandhi Nagar Police Station, Delhi Police while accepting a bribe of Rs. 40,000 from the complainant. CBI filed a complaint against the aforementioned Head Constable, PS Gandhi Nagar, Delhi Police, Delhi. It was said that the accused demanded a bribe of Rs. 1,00,000 from the complainant in exchange for not taking action on the complaint against him. Following bargaining, the accused decided to accept Rs. 75,000. The CBI set a trap and caught the accused Head Constable red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs. 40,000 from the complainant. Searches are being undertaken at the accused's premises. The investigation is continuing.
