CBI sent Ex-RPF Constable to 5 years of Rigorous Imprisonment in Bribery Case The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has sent the accused to 5 years of Rigorous Imprisonment in a Bribery Case. The accused namely Sh. Ganesh Satpute, Ex-RPF Constable of Kurduwadi (Solapur) was sentenced by the Special Judge, PC Act cases, Solapur (Maharashtra) to five years rigorous imprisonment with a fine of Rs. 4,500. The CBI filed a complaint against the suspects on April 29, 2013. The accused allegedly took Rs.10,000 from a Tour and Travel company employee. It was further stated that the accused sought and took a bribe of Rs.100 per passenger per day for train tickets bought by the abovementioned company. On August 6, 2023, following an inquiry, a chargesheet was filed against the accused. The trial court found the accused guilty and convicted him.
