CBIC amends previous notification to extend existing concessional import duties on specified edible oils The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs(CBIC) has amended previous notification no. 48/2021 and 49/2021 - Customs, both dated 13.10.2021, in order to extend the existing concessional import duties on specified edible oils up to and inclusive of the 31st March, 2023. The Notification Stated, "In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) read with section 124 of the Finance Act, 2021 (13 of 2021), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby amends the following notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table below, to the extent specified in the corresponding entries in column (3) of the said Table, namely:-" [caption id="attachment_156875" align="aligncenter" width="619"]concessional import duties on specified edible oils concessional import duties on specified edible oils[/caption] For Official Notification Download PDF Given Below:
