CBIC Notifies Anti Dumping Duty on Imports of Stainless-Steel Seamless Tubes and Pipes The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Custom(CBIC) has issued Notification outlining significant changes relating to the imposition of an anti-dumping duty on imports of 'Stainless-Steel Seamless Tubes and Pipes; from China PR, as well as the name of a major entity engaged in these imports. This action follows the publication of the authorised authority's final conclusions in the Indian Gazette. The new notice emphasises two major changes. First, it applies an anti-dumping duty on the subject goods, based on the designated authority's final conclusions. The Ministry already imposed this duty by notice No. 31/2022-Customs (ADD) on December 20, 2022. Second, the notification addresses the company's name change from "Zhejiang Tsingshan Steel Pipe Co., Ltd." to "Tsingshan Steel Pipe Co., Ltd." After confirming that there would be no changes in the applicant's ownership, sales, demand, production, management, business licence, or address, the request for this name change was evaluated and authorised.
