CBIC Notifies Changes in Customs Tariff Value for Palm oil, Gold, Silver and Areca nuts; Effective Jan 14

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) under the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) recently shared a notification (No. F. No. 467/01/2026-Cus.V) on January 13, 2026, regarding changes in Customs Tariff Value.

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, in powers given by section 14 (2) of the Customs Act, 1962 (52), makes the following changes:

The following table will be replaced in the said notification:

7404 00 22 Brass Scrap (all grades) 6694 (i.e., no change)

Note: This notification will be effective from January 14, 2026.
