CBIC Updates Kishangarh Entry Numbering and Expands Customs Operations in Rajasthan The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs under the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) has released a notification, dated April 23, 2026, in use of its powers granted under Clause (aa) of sub-section (1), read with sub-section (2), of Section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962, amending an earlier Government of India Notification No. 12/97-Customs (N.T.) dated April 2nd, 1997.

What Changes Have Been Made

Correction in Serial Number

Under serial number 10 for the State of Rajasthan
The entry written as “(x) Kishangarh” is now corrected to “(xi) Kishangarh”

New Location Added

A new entry is added in the same table under serial number 10 for Rajasthan. It is added after item (xi) in column (3) and its related entry in column (4)
