CBIC Updates Kishangarh Entry Numbering and Expands Customs Operations in Rajasthan
The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs under the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) has released a notification, dated April 23, 2026, in use of its powers granted under Clause (aa) of sub-section (1), read with sub-section (2), of Section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962, amending an earlier Government of India Notification No. 12/97-Customs (N.T.) dated April 2nd, 1997.
What Changes Have Been Made
Correction in Serial Number
- Under serial number 10 for the State of Rajasthan
- The entry written as “(x) Kishangarh” is now corrected to “(xi) Kishangarh”
New Location Added
A new entry is added in the same table under serial number 10 for Rajasthan. It is added after item (xi) in column (3) and its related entry in column (4)| Entry No. | Place |
