Rs 70 Crore Claim Row: Ex-CFO Gobind Jain Moves Bombay High Court Against IndusInd Bank Over Alleged Wrongful Dismissal Former IndusInd Bank Ex-CFO Gobind Jain has filed a case worth Rs 70 crore against the Bank in the Bombay High Court regarding the termination of his services by IndusInd Bank. It has been claimed by him that the termination of his services was not in compliance with the terms of his employment agreement. The case has been filed but has not yet been heard in the Bombay High Court.

According to Jain, he has been fired from his post without an internal inquiry into the matter. In the petition filed by Jain, he has made a demand not only for monetary compensation but also for reinstatement to his earlier position. Out of the total demand amounting to Rs 70 crores, approximately Rs 20 crores has been demanded for his salary and bonus, as well as damages for losing a reputation worth Rs 50 crores. Mr Jain is represented by the Wadia Ghandy Law Firm, whereas the bank has hired Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas for its defence.
