CBSE Class 10th and 12th Result 2024: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Class 10th and 12th Result 2024 Today i.e., 13th May 2024. Students who appeared for the exam will be able to check their results on various platforms including the official websites — results.cbse.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, and cbseresults.nic.in.

In the CBSE Class 10 examination, 93.60 % of students passed, with girls surpassing boys by 2.04% points to pass with 94.75 % of the total. More than 1.32 lakh students were assigned to “compartment,” a little drop from the previous year.

The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the Class 12 CBSE Results 2024. Students who took the 12th-grade examinations, numbering over 18 lakh, can now view and obtain their results. This year, 87.98% of students passed the test overall. The district of Trivandrum produced the best results, with Prayagraj earning the final spot. Girls have outperformed boys, as in prior years. Male exam pass rates are 81.12%, while female pass rates are 91.52 %. With 6.40%, girls have outperformed boys. 16.21 lakh out of the 16.33 lakh registered students passed the examination.

Results of the CBSE 2024: No Divisions, Aggregates, or Percentages:

When CBSE informed earlier this year that it will not be sharing percentages, aggregate scores, or division in the mark sheet, the notice went viral. Even more media outlets continued to imply that the CBSE Board would not award marks.

On the other hand, the message was merely an annual reminder of an established policy. This notification does not imply that the board will withhold the student’s grades. Rather than disclosing each student’s final grade, the board will reveal the division in which they placed.

Students only need to tally up their marks from each topic and divide it by the total number of marks from all courses to determine their percentage of marks. To find the percentage scored, multiply that figure. For the aggregate percentage, the best of five is also taken into account. Prior to CUET, elite schools and universities used a best-of-four admissions process for degree admittance.

Merit Certificates for CBSE Toppers 2024:

Regarding the top performers, let us stress once more that the board neither releases the merit certificate nor shares the list of top performers. The students receive just merit certificates, which are sent and shared only with them rather than being shared with the general public for general use.

All students who place in the top 0.1% of their respective subjects—as long as at least 500 students have taken those subjects—will get merit certificates. The percentile rank is indicated here.

To put it simply, if 10,000 students pass a topic, the merit certificate will be awarded to the 1000 students who received the best scores in that subject. In the event of a tie, the certificates of merit for each subject will be given to the students who scored the highest.

The CBSE Class 10th  and 12th Results will soon be available on DigiLocker and the official website. As soon as the results are made public on CBSE.gov.in, the digital mark sheet is available for download from DigiLocker. Times Now hopes every student receives the finest grades possible.
