CBSE Issues A Warning About False Information Regarding Free Teacher Training

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notice alerting educators and other relevant parties to use caution when sending scammers private information over mail.

The CBSE sent an official announcement stating that a small number of board-affiliated schools have been inundated with phony emails offering free teacher training in advanced Python and Artificial Intelligence (Practical). In addition to requesting sensitive information from stakeholders via a Google form, the email also asks for it, as CBSE clarified, stating that the board has not sent any such correspondence to schools. Additionally, the email guarantees that attendees will receive a free book on Python and AI.

According to CBSE, schools should disregard these emails and refrain from disclosing personal information regarding city coordinators, trustees, and school strengths.

The Central Board of Secondary Education has been informed that certain CBSE-affiliated schools have received emails with the subject line “As per CBSE official Syllabus Free Teacher’s Training on AI (Practicals) and Advance Python.” This is the official announcement from CBSE. It also states that a free book on Python and AI would be given to attendees. The email links users to a Google Form that requests private data, such as the school’s strength and the names and contact information of the city coordinators for CBSE and trustees.”
