CBSE Organises Sports Events In Affiliated Schools for Academic Year 2024-25
CBSE Organises Sports Events for 2024-25: Every year, the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE organises sports events at Cluster/ Zonal and National levels for the students of its affiliated schools in various age groups. The games are organised for both genders (Girls and Boys) separately. The board asks its all affiliated schools for proposals for the sports event and also requests them to participate in the event through an online portal. Sports events help encourage students to show their potential and represent their school. Students should not always and only be engaged in education, also they should be involved in physical activities. Physical games help develop both the physical and mental health of the student. Games are compulsory along with education, as they help make student’s mind more sharper and fresh. Other than these there are many other benefits of physical games.
The schools interested in participating in the Sports Events organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE at Cluster/ Zonal or National Level can apply online at the official website, cbse.gov.in. Click on the title named “CBSE SPORTS SYSTEM” on the homepage of the website. If visit the other website, cbseacademic.nic.in, click on the ‘Sports’ tab.
The schools interested in participating in the Sports Events organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE can log in using the same Username and Password used at the time of registration or LOC in classes IX/ X/ XI/ XI.
After the login, if the screen of the Cluster and Zone boxes (on top of the screen) appears to be blank, means the school is not in part of any cluster/ zone and the school organising will not be able to see the entries of the school. In this case, schools must report at the website(S), [email protected] and [email protected].
All schools should ensure that they are giving the correct details of the participating candidate such as the candidate’s name, date of birth, game, event etc. No changes will be made after the last date.

In order to apply for the Sports Events organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, participating candidates must be aged under 11, 14, 17, & 19 years as of 31.12.2024. The age limit required for the Sports Events for the session 2024-25:
