CBSE Warns Schools Against Fake Teacher Training Email Trying to Capture Sensitive Information
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) recently discovered that some schools affiliated with the CBSE have started receiving emails containing the subject line “As per CBSE approved Syllabus Free Teacher’s Training on AI (Practicals) and Advance Python.” Furthermore, it claims all participants will receive an absolutely free book on Python and AI.
The email connects readers to a Google Form that collects private information about the person, such as the school’s strengths and the names and contact details of the city coordinators for CBSE as well as trustees.
CBSE has confirmed that no such email has been sent by their site. To safeguard your private and professional information, CBSE advises candidates to avoid and discard any such email.
The official notice reads, “It has come to the notice of Central Board of Secondary Education that a few CBSE affiliated schools are in receipt of an email(s) captioned “As per CBSE official Syllabus Free Teacher’s Training on AI (Practicals) and Advance Python“. It also mentions that participants will receive a complimentary book on AI and Python.”
The further notice says, “The email directs recipients to a Google Form that asks for sensitive information, including details of trustees, CBSE city coordinators, and the strength of the school. Please be advised that CBSE has not issued any such email. We urge you to ignore and delete any such communication to protect your personal and professional information.”
