CBSE Releases Practical Exam Guidelines for Private Students 2024-25 The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued important guidelines regarding the practical examination for private students of Class 12 who were going to appear for the board exam in 2025. The practical exams are going to be conducted from 15 February 2025 to 15 March 2025 at the allotted examination centres. As per CBSE guidelines and examination rules, practical exams must be conducted for certain categories of private students appearing for Class 12 Board exams in 2025:

• Students of 2024: Those whose practical subject marks are missing due to repeat in practical (RP), repeat in theory & practical (RB), or absence.
• Students of 2023: Those whose practical subject marks are not available for the same reasons (RP, RB, or absence).
• Students of 2022 & Earlier: Those who have applied as private candidates for full subjects, including practical subjects.

As per the circular issued by the CBSE, "No project assessment/internal assessment will be conducted for the subjects not having practical components. The marks of project assessment/internal assessment will be computed pro-rata, based on marks obtained in the theory exam in the current examination 2025."

CBSE Practical Examination 2025: Examination Centre

The practical examination for the Class 12 Board 2025 will be conducted at the same centre that has been allocated for the theory exam. External examiners were appointed by the CBSE regional directors/officers, while the internal examiners will be appointed by the centre superintendent from the faculty of the school. Faculty from nearby schools will be appointed if the teachers are unavailable at the centre.

CBSE Practical Examination 2025: Grading and Answer Sheets

Here are the details regarding the grading and answer sheets for the CBSE Practical Examination 2025:

• The CBSE-provided practical answer books must be used, and examiners must ensure all entries are correct and complete.
• Marks will be uploaded to the CBSE portal on the same day of the practical exam after verification by both internal and external examiners.

CBSE Practical Examination 2025: Centers and Region Offices of Obligations

CBSE Practical Examination 2025 Examination Centres and Regional Offices Responsibilities are mentioned below:

• Preparation of exam centres' student list subject-wise and communication with CBSE for the appointment of external examiners.
• Regional offices will provide examiners, collect student lists, and ensure timely completion of exams, mark uploads, and answer book submissions.
• All marks that the candidates may have scored need to be uploaded to the CBSE portal before the last date.
