Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union territory Administrations or autonomous body or statutory organisations or public sector undertakings or recognised universities or recognised research institutions-

• Holding analogous Posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department. OR
• With five years’ service rendered after appointment to the post on a regular basis in level-11 (Rs. 67700-208700) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department. And

For Senior Scientific Officer-

Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union territory Administrations or autonomous or statutory organisation or public sector undertakings or recognised university or recognised research institution-

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department. OR
• With five years’ service rendered after appointment to the post on a regular basis in level-10 (Rs. 56100-177500/-) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department. And

For Scientific Officer-

Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union territory Administrations-

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department. OR
• with 02 years of service rendered after appointment to the post on a regular basis in level – 9 (Rs. 53100-167800) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department. OR
• With four years’ service rendered after appointment to the post on a regular basis in level – 8 (Rs. 47600-151100) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department.

Educational Qualification and Experience For CDSCO Recruitment 2025:

Possessing the following educational qualification and experience, namely-

For Deputy Director-

Essential-

• The candidate should have a master’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Pharmacology or Bacteriology or Medicine or Microbiology or Biotechnology from a recognised university or institute. And
• The candidate should have 10 years of experience in drug testing and standardisation and research.

Desirable-

• The candidate should have a Doctorate degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Pharmacology or Bacteriology or Medicine or Microbiology or Biotechnology from a recognised university or recognised institute.

For Senior Scientific Officer-

Essential-

• The candidate should have a master’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Pharmacology or Bacteriology or Medicine oг Microbiology or Biotechnology from a recognised university or institute.

Desirable-

• The candidate should have a Doctorate degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Pharmacology or Bacteriology or Medicine or Microbiology or Biotechnology from a recognised university or institute.

Experience-

• The candidate should have 08 years of experience in drug testing and standardisation and research.

For Scientific Officer-

Tenure for CDSCO Recruitment 2025:

The appointment of CDSCO Recruitment 2025 is made on a Deputation (including Short-term Contract) / Promotion basis.

For Deputy Director-

• The period of deputation (including short-term contract) including a period of deputation (including short-term contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation ) department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 04 years.

For Senior Scientific Officer and Scientific Officer-

• The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 03 years.

Place of Posting for CDSCO Recruitment 2025:

The official notification of CDSCO Recruitment 2025 states that the selected candidates will be assigned to work at the Central Drugs Testing Laboratory (CDTL), Hyderabad, Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation, Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
