Central Civil Accounts Service Senior Accountant 2025: Major Rule Changes for Group B Non-Gazetted Posts
Ministry of Finance has recently shared a notification dated August 1, 2025 under article 309 of the Constitution to the Central Civil Accounts Service (Senior Accountant Group 'B' Non-Gazetted post) Recruitment Rules, 2025 replacing the previous rules 2010 related to the post of Senior Accountant.
The revised rules will come into effect from August 1, 2025. the president makes the below mentioned rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Senior Accountant of the Central Civil Accounts Service:-
1.Short title and commencement:
- These rules will be known as the Central Civil Accounts Service(Senior Accountant Group 'B' Non-Gazetted post) Recruitment Rules, 2025.
- They will come into effect on the date of their publication in the official Gazette.
- The rules will be apply to the posts mentioned in column (1) of the schedule appropriate to those rules.
- The number of post, their classification and level in the pay matrix will attached as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule related to these rules.
- The methods of the recruitment, age limit, educational qualifications and other matters related will be mentioned in columns (5) to (13) of the Schedule related to these rules.
- Who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living
- Who having a spouse living, has entered into a contracted a marriage with any person will be eligible for appointment.
- If Central government satisfied that such marriage is allowable under the personal law applicable to such individual and the other party to the marriage, and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any individuals from operational of this rule.
- Nothing in these rules will affect reservation, relaxation of age limit and other privilege will be issued to the person in accordance with the orders issued by Central Government from time to time.
