Central Government notifies Election Tribunal under the Chartered Accountant Act
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) vide F. No. 1/1/2022-PI dated 17th March 2022 notifies composition of election tribunal under the Chartered Accountant Act 1949.
The Notification is Given Below:
S.O. 1199(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 10B of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 (38 of 1949) and in pursuance of rule 3 of the Chartered Accountants (Election Tribunal) Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby establishes a Tribunal consisting of the following persons to decide disputes in the matter of election to the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India held in December, 2021 arising under section 10A of the said Act namely: 1. Shri R S Verma (Additional Secretary), Ministry of Law and Justice, Department of Legal Affairs, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi-110001 - Presiding Officer 2. Ms. Nandita Mishra (Economic Adviser), Ministry of Corporate Affairs, New Delhi-110003 - Member 3. Shri Sanjay Shorey Director (Legal and Prosecution), Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi-110001 - Member 2. This notification shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.About Author
