The Central University of Kerala invites application from eligible and suitable Indian nationals for direct recruitment to faculty positions in various Departments in Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod.

CUK has released notification in the Employment News (26 March-01 April 2022) for recruitment to the 13 Faculty Posts including Professor and Assistant Professor.

Candidates with enhanced eligibility who meet the UGC Regulations on minimum qualifications for recruitment of teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges may apply for these positions.

Eligibility Criteria for Professor and Assistant Professor Post

Qualifications

a. For Professor (SI No 1 to 4) and Assistant Professor (SI No 8 & 9) :-

As per UGC Regulations on minimum qualifications for appointment of teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and measures for the Maintenance of standards in Higher Education, 2018 and subsequent amendments, clarifications, guidelines etc. issued by the UGC.

b. For the Department of Education :­

Liberal Discipline and Pedagogy (SI No 1 to 5)

Essential Qualifications

(i) SINo 1 – Post Graduate degree in Mathematics with minimum 55 % marks.
SINo 2 – Post Graduate degree in Physics with minimum 55 % marks.
SINo 3 – Post Graduate degree in Chemistry with minimum 55 % marks.
SINo 4- Post Graduate degree in Zoology or Life Sciences or Bio Sciences with minimum 55 % marks.
SINo 5 – Post Graduate degree in Botany or Life Sciences or Bio Sciences with minimum 55 % marks.

(ii) B.Ed Degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.

(iii) Cleared National Eligibility Test or holding PhD in Education or concerned subject. Exemption from NET for PhD holders is strictly as per UGC Regulations, 2018.

Desirable Qualifications

(i) M.Ed
(ii) PhD in Education
