CGTMSE exceeds Rs. 5 Lakh Crore Mark in Micro and Small Business Guarantees The Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE) provides a guarantee for the credit extended by Member Lending Institutions (MLIs) to Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs), without collateral and third-party guarantee. Under the Credit Guarantee Scheme for Micro and Small Enterprises, the CGTMSE has approved and granted guarantees to 79,53,694 Micro and Small Enterprises totalling Rs. 5,33,587 crore since the scheme's inception until November 30, 2023. This information was given by the Minister of State for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, Shri Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma in a written reply to the Lok Sabha.
