Chandigarh Engineering Department Recruitment 2022: Check Post, Qualification and Other Details
Chandigarh Engineering Department Recruitment 2022: The Engineering Department, Union Territory, Chandigarh has invited applications from the officers under the Central Government/State Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Semi-Government/ autonomous or statutory organization for the post of Superintending Engineer (Civil) for a period of one year which can be extended for a period of three years. The selected candidate will be placed on the Pay Scale Rs. 37400 – 67000 + 8700 GP (UNREVISED) and Level-28 in Revised Pay Rules, 2021. There is only one vacancy for the Post.
The application of eligible and willing officers who can be spared immediately be forwarded through proper channels in the prescribed format in the address so as to reach on or before 60 days from the next date of publishing the advertisement in the Employment News as per the Chandigarh Engineering Department Recruitment 2022 Notification.
The last date for the receipt of 26.11.2022 to 25.01.2023.

Deputation (including short-term contract):
Officers under Central Government or State Governments or Union Territory Administrations or Public Sector Undertakings or Universities or recognized Research Institutions or Semi Government or Autonomous Bodies or Statutory Organizations :
(a) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) With five years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in post in the post of Executive Engineer (Civil) pay band-3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with grade pay of Rs.7,600 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
(b) possessing the following educational qualification and
Experience:
Essential:
(i) graduate of Engineering (Civil Engineering) from a recognized University or Institute or degree of AMIE in Civil Engineering
(ii) twelve years of experience in the relevant field of Engineering in the government sector.
Desirable:
Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
