CIL Recruitment 2022: Coal India Limited (CIL), A “MAHARATNA” Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Coal, Government of India, is the largest corporate employer in the world (With around 2.48 lakh people) and the sole producer of coal in the world, accounting for 83% of all coal production in India. We produce both coking coal and non-coking coal in a range of grades for a variety of uses. It is active in eight Indian states (West Bengal, Jharkhand, Orisha, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh & Assam).
CIL seeks applications from enthusiastic and motivated Medical Executives to work in SECL in order to support its future growth (South Eastern Coalfields Limited.). 1. Sr. Medical Specialist (E4)/ Medical Specialist (E3):
The Scale of Pay: E-4, Rs.70000 to Rs.200000 and E-3, Rs.60000 to Rs.180000
2. Sr.Medical Officer (E3):
The Scale of Pay: Rs.60000 to Rs.180000
3. Sr.Medical Officer (Dental) (E3):
The Scale of Pay: Rs.60000 to Rs.180000.
1. Qualification & Experience for Post of Sr. Medical Specialists (E4 grade)
For General Surgery, General Medicine & Pulmonary Medicine -the minimum qualification is MBBS from a recognized Institute/College approved by the Medical Council of India with a recognized Post Graduate Degree/DNB with minimum 3 years post qualification experience.
For other Specialists, in addition to the above, Post Graduate Diploma is also considered as one of the minimum eligible qualifications.
2. Qualification for Post of Medical Specialists (E3 grade):
MBBS from a recognized Institute/College approved by the medical Council of India.
3. Qualification for Post of Sr. Medical Officer Dental (E3 grade):
BDS from a recognized Institute/College approved by the Dental Council of India with 1-year post qualification experience from a Hospital/Clinic.
Note: 1. Candidates who have obtained the required eligible qualification from Foreign University/Institute, will also be considered provided they submit the certificate of passing the qualifying examination from MCI.
2. For eligibility, the candidate should have obtained a Registration Number from the Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council/ Dental Council of India/ State Dental Council against their qualification.
3. 1 year Internship period being part of the curricula will not be considered an Experience.
The Upper Age limit for Unreserved (UR) candidates in the case of:
a. Sr.Medical Specialist (E4 Grade) is 42 years for General/UR.
b. Sr.Medical Officer (including Dental)/Medical Specialist in E3 Grade) is 35 years for General/UR.
Personal interviews will be used as the basis for selection, in accordance with the “Policy for Decentralized Recruitment of Medical Executives at CIL/Subsidiary Level,” which is available on the CIL website and may be amended and clarified in the future.
Without an attempt certificate or certificates provided by a university or college submitted with the advance application, a candidate’s application will not be taken into consideration.
The methods used will follow the “Policy, for Decentralized recruitment of Medical Executives CIL/Subsidiary level” as published on the CIL website in the event of a tie in the candidate’s marks.

The candidates will be required to send the duly filled-in application form as an advance copy in the format prescribed along with self-attested copy of the testimonials through speed post to Dy.GM(P)/HOD(EE), South Eastern Coalfields Limited, Bilaspur which should reach within the stipulated time i.e. 29.10.2022 by 5.00 PM. The application of the candidates not received within the stipulated date, will not be entertained.
No other mode of delivery (by hand/email/couriers, etc) of applications would be accepted/entertained.
A candidate can apply for only one post in a Subsidiary. If applications are received for Sr. Medical Officer as well as Medical Specialists/Sr. Medical Specialists in a subsidiary, then the application will be considered against Medical Specialists/Sr. Medical Specialists, as the case may be, whether or not it is the recent one.
