City Police arrested One Person for duping Tax Consultant of Rs. 15 Lakh The Chikhali police recently arrested a 26-year-old man from Gujarat and seized Rs 15.47 lakh from him, which he had obtained from a 65-year-old tax consultant between February and March of last year. On May 20, last year, the victim filed a complaint with the Chikhali police, stating that in February 2023, he received a call from an unknown individual who promised him significant profits on his share market investment. Senior Inspector Dnyaneshwar Katkar of the Chikhali police claimed that the accused stole Rs. 15.47 lakh from the victim on several occasions, and the victim grew suspicious when the suspect sought Rs. 3.47 lakh again. Investigations into the bank account and cell phones revealed the participation of Dinesh Thakore of Mehsana district in Gujarat.
