For contract positions as General Manager, Project Manager, Joint Project Manager, Deputy Manager, and Fire Safety Officer/Consultant, Chennai Metro Rail Corporation (CMRL) is seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates. According to the official CMRL Recruitment 2023 notification, there are 08 openings for the aforementioned positions.

Qualification for CMRL Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the CMRL Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualifications

General Manager

• Candidate should have a B.E / B.Tech (EEE/Mech) degree holder from a Govt recognized Institute /University, approved by AICTE / UGC.

Project Manager

• Applicant must have B.E / B.Tech (Civil) graduate from a Govt. recognized Institute / University approved by AICTE / UGC.

Joint Project Manager

• Aspirant must have B. E / B. Tech (Civil) graduate from a Govt recognized University / Institute, approved by AICTE / UGC.
• Candidate should have a possession of M. E / M. Tech degree (Civil / Structural Engineering) is preferred.

Deputy Project Manager (Construction)

• Candidate should have a B.E/ B.Tech (Civil) graduate from a Govt. recognized Institute / University approved by AICTE / UGC.

Deputy Project Manager (Architect)

• Aspirant must have B. Arch graduate from a Govt. recognized Institute / University approved by AICTE / UGC.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards applicable locally and internationally such as NBC, NFPA, IBC etc.
• Candidate should possess Knowledge of Software viz. Auto CAD, Revit BIM, BIM 360, Navisworks, Microsoft Office & reviewing itemized BOQ etc.

Deputy Manager

• Applicant must have a M.E / M.Tech (Transportation Planning / Transportation Engineering / Traffic Engineering / Urban Engineering) from a recognized Institute / University, approved by AICTE / UGC.

Fire Safety Officer/ Consultant

• Candidate should have graduated from a Govt. recognized Institute / University approved by AICTE / UGC.
• A Diploma / Advance Diploma / Degree shall be from a recognized institute of repute and these qualifications are preferred from National Fire Service College, Nagpur.

Experience for CMRL Recruitment 2023:

Referring to the official notification of CMRL Recruitment 2023, the experience required for the above-mentioned post is given below.

General Manager

• Applicant must have at least 20 years of post-qualification experience in Maintenance of any large infrastructure projects.

Project Manager

• Candidate must have at least 20 years of post-qualification experience in the execution of large infrastructure projects like constructions of Bus Depot, Multi storied buildings, and Commercial complexes.
• Out of the 20 years of experience, a minimum of 5 years of experience shall be exclusively in Infrastructure construction.

Joint Project Manager

• Candidate should have minimum post-qualification experience of 15 years in planning and design of Bus Depot, Multi storied buildings, and Commercial complexes.
• Out of the 15 years of experience, a minimum of 08 years of experience in the design of Infrastructure projects is essential.

Deputy Project Manager (Construction)

• Aspirants must have a minimum of 13 years of post-qualification experience in the execution of large infrastructure projects like the construction of Bus Depot, Multi-storied buildings, and Commercial complexes.
• Out of the 13 years of experience, a minimum of 5 years of experience shall be exclusively in Infrastructure projects.

Deputy Project Manager (Architect)

• Candidate should have 13 years of post-qualification experience in designing architecture, interior and landscape.
• Experience in management and coordination with external consultants, site teams, and various departments

Deputy Manager

• Candidate should have a minimum post-qualification experience of 4 years in the execution of large Transportation infrastructure projects and also be involved in city level Transportation studies such as CCTS, CMP, Feasibility, DPR, etc.,

Fire Safety Officer/ Consultant

• Applicant must have at least 13 years of post-qualification experience in the Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services department (TNFRS) or other similar departments or any large reputed organizations.

Tenure for CMRL Recruitment 2023:

The candidate is appointed on a contract basis for a period of two years, with the possibility of an extension based on the candidate’s performance and requirements, as per the official notification of CMRL Recruitment 2023.

Salary for CMRL Recruitment 2023:

According to the official CMRL Recruitment 2023 notification, the candidate will be paid upto Rs. 225000 per month.
