CMRL Recruitment 2024: Chennai Metro Rail Corporation (CMRL) is hiring candidates to fill out the post of General Manager (Signal and Telecom) on a Deputation/contract basis. There is only 01 vacancy for the assigned position. Referring to the official notification of CMRL Recruitment 2024, the applicant will be appointed for a period of 03 to 02 years, which shall be extendable. The selection process comprises of two-stage process, an interview and a medical examination, as per the CMRL Recruitment 2024.

To fill the position of General Manager (Signal and Telecom) on a contract/deputation basis, Chennai Metro Rail Corporation (CMRL) is now hiring. For the designated role, there is only one opening.
To apply for CMRL Recruitment 2024, a candidate must be between the ages of 45 and 55 for the allocated role as of 31.01.2024.
Candidates applying for the CMRL Recruitment 2024 must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) / Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or a combination of any of these disciplines from a Govt. recognized Institute / University approved by AICTE / UGC.
According to the official notification of CMRL Recruitment 2024, the candidates must have post-qualification experience of a minimum of 20 years and in case of deputation, the officer must be an IRSSE / Group ‘A’ / SAG or equivalent grade/rank possessing experience in design, installation, testing, commissioning & operation
of Electronic Interlocking for Railway signalling, and automatic signalling systems based on AFTC /Axle Counter-based track detection.
According to the official CMRL Recruitment 2024 notification, the applicant will be appointed on a contract basis for a period of 02 years, and this will be extended for an additional period based on mutual consent and the candidates’ performance and requirements, as well as the current terms and conditions. The initial period of deputation will be for a period of 3 years, which shall be extendable up to 05 years.
The compensation range for applicants to the CMRL Recruitment 2024 is up to Rs. 225000 per month.
