Applicant from Govt Organization-

• Should be Member of Group “A” service in Indian Railways of Government of India and should have worked at least for a period of 2 years in the level 14 of the 7th CPC or Senior Administrative Grade (SAG) (with Grade Pay of Rs.10000 in Pay Band 4 of CDA Grade of Rs.37400-67000 (pre-revised) or higher.
• Applicant from Railway PSU’s (IRCON, RITES, DFCC, KMRC etc) / Metro’s Organization Should have worked at least 5 years in GM level or higher and should have worked at least 2 years in the pay scale of Rs.120000 – 280000 or Rs.51300-73000 (Pre-revised IDA) or
  higher.

Applicant from Private Sector-

1. The candidate should have worked in companies where the project size of not less than Rs.1000 Crore or a company with an annual turnover of not less than Rs.200 Crore in the last 3 years for which the documentary proof of company’s Project size / turnover to be uploaded online along with experience proof.
2. Should have worked at least 5 years, out of total years of experience in GM level or level reporting directly to a Director on the Board i.e. one level below Board level for a minimum period of two years.

• The candidate should have minimum five (5) years’ experience at senior levels in Railway electrification works of large nature.
• The candidate should have experience and knowledge of inter-facing with railway related disciplines such as track laying works, signalling, electrification and rolling stock, etc.
• The candidate should have proven experience and knowledge in handling Metro Rail Operations or EMU or Rail operations.

Desirable Experience-

• The candidate should have experience of all phases of major rail based urban transportation projects on contracts i.e. Planning, Bid Documents, Bidding, Execution, Commissioning, post Commissioning etc.
• The candidate should have experience of implementing major projects and complying with project related requirements of international funding institutions.
• The candidate should have experience in Railway EMU / Electric Locomotive manufacturing, maintenance and operations.

Salary for CMRL Recruitment 2024:

The candidates who are selected for CMRL Recruitment 2024 will be given a Gross pay with the minimum Basic Pay in the Pay Scale of Rs.1,80,000 -3,40,000 will be as under:

• The deputationist shall have the option either to draw pay being drawn in the parent organization with deputation allowance (10% of basic pay) and project allowance (10% of basic pay) or IDA Pay scale in CMRL for the said post.

Tenure for CMRL Recruitment 2024:

The engagement of CMRL Recruitment 2024 is made on a deputation/contract basis and the chosen candidates will be engaged for a period of 05 years or till the age of superannuation (i.e., 62 years) whichever is earlier.
