Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) Recruitment 2022: Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a listed premier Mini Ratna Company of Government of India, invites Online Applications from Indian citizens fulfilling the eligibility requirements, for filling up 261 vacancies in various department in the Workmen category for CSL & age upto 35 years (without age relaxation) as on 06th June 2022. The candidates have to submit their online applications to get registered for the CSL Recruitment till 06th June 2022.

1. For Senior Ship Draftsman (Mechanical)
Three year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education securing minimum of 60% of marks.
Essential- Minimum two years post qualification experience/ training as Ship Draftsman or Draftsman in a Shipyard or Engineering Company or Ship Design Company or Establishment or Government Company or Establishment or Semi Government Company or Establishment.
Desirable- Experience in Tribon modelling/Design experience in AutoCAD.
2. For Senior Ship Draftsman (Electrical)
Three year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering, from a State Board of Technical Education securing minimum of 60% of marks
Essential- Minimum two years post qualification experience/ training as Ship Draftsman or Draftsman in a Shipyard or Engineering Company or Ship Design Company or Establishment or Government Company or Establishment or Semi Government Company or Establishment.
Desirable- Experience in Tribon modelling /Design experience in AutoCAD.
3. For Senior Ship Draftsman (Electronics)
Three year Diploma in Electronics Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, from a State Board of Technical Education securing minimum of 60% of marks.
Essential- Minimum two years post qualification experience/ training as Ship Draftsman or Draftsman in a Shipyard or Engineering Company or Ship Design Company or Establishment or Government Company or Establishment or Semi Government Company or Establishment.
Desirable- Experience in Tribon modelling /Design experience in AutoCAD.
4. For Senior Ship Draftsman (Instrumentation)
Three year Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering or Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, from a State Board of Technical Education securing minimum of 60% of marks.
Essential- Minimum two years post qualification experience/ training as Ship Draftsman or Draftsman in a Shipyard or Engineering Company or Ship Design Company or Establishment or Government Company or Establishment or Semi Government Company or Establishment.
Desirable- Experience in Tribon modelling /Design experience in AutoCAD

Pay Scale- W6 and W7,
Scale of Pay- Rs.22500 to 73750 and Rs.23500 to 77000
a) The upper age limit prescribed for the posts shall not exceed 35 years as on 06 June 2022, i.e. applicants should be born on or after 07 June 1987.
b) The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates & 5 years for SC/ST candidates, in posts reserved for them.
c) Age relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen shall be as per Government of India guidelines. However, in no case, age limit after applying all age relaxations shall exceed 50 years.
d) Age relaxation for Ex-servicemen shall be as per Government of India guidelines, calculated
by deducting the period of military service from the actual age and adding three years
thereto, subject to a maximum age of 45 years.
(i) Application fee of Rs. 400 (Non – refundable, plus bank charges extra) should be remitted using the Online payment options (Debit card/Credit card/Internet Banking/Wallets/ UPI etc) which can be accessed through our Online application facility
from 14 May 2022 to 06 June 2022. No other mode of payment shall be accepted.
(ii) Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Person with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) need not pay application fee. They are exempted from payment of application fee.
(iii) All applicants for whom the fee is applicable, i.e. except those belonging to SC/ST/PwBD, should pay the application fee as stipulated in the above clause. It is important to note that their candidature shall be considered only on receipt of application fee.
(i) Applicants should go to the website www.cochinshipyard.in (Career page- CSL, Kochi) and proceed to the link for online application. The application consists of two phases – Registration and Submission of application. Applicants should not submit more than one application to the same post. Application once submitted shall be final.
(ii) Applicants meeting the notified requirements may go through the instructions on the online application page, complete the Registration and submit their application online through the online application facility from 14 May 2022 and the facility can be accessed through our website www.cochinshipyard.in (Career page- CSL, Kochi). Application submitted direct or by any other mode shall not be accepted.
