CONCOR Recruitment 2022: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) is hiring eligible candidates for the post of Chairman and Managing Director, who is the Cheif Executive of the Company and is accountable to the Board of Directors and Government. He/she is also responsible for the corporation’s efficient functioning and achieving its objectives and performance parameters. There is only one vacancy for the above-mentioned post.

The last date and time of the receipt of the complete application are 12th January 2023 by 15.00 hours. Candidates must note that no application shall be entertained under any circumstances after the stipulated time/date. Incomplete applications and applications received after the stipulated time/date shall be rejected. Moreover, the Board has the right to shortlist the candidates for interview.

Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) was incorporated in March 1988 as a Government Company under the Companies Act of 1956. It is a Schedule ‘A’/Navratna CPSE (Central Public Sector Enterprise) under the administrative control of the Ministry of Railways. The Company was set up with the objective of developing multi-modal logistics support for  India’s international and domestic containerised cargo and trade. The Company currently provides services for containerised freight transportation by rail and road link in India.

Eligibility Criteria for CONCOR Recruitment 2022

Qualification:

The applicant should be an Engineering graduate/ Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant/ Post Graduate/ Graduate with MBA/ PGDIM from a leading institute.

Experience:

The applicant should possess cumulative experience/ exposure for at least 5 years during the last 10 years in Finance/ Business Development/ Operations/ Marketing in a large organization/establishment. Experience/ Exposure in Transport/ Logistic Services will be an added advantage.

Pay Scale:

1. For Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE):-

a. Rs. 8250 – 9250 (IDA) Pre 01/01/1992

b. Rs. 11500 – 13500 (IDA) Post 01/01/1992

c. Rs. 23750 – 28550 (IDA) Post 01/01/1997

d. Rs. 62000 – 80000 (IDA) Post 01/01/2007

e. Rs. 150000 – 300000 (IDA) Post 01/01/2017

f. Rs. 22400 – 24500 (CDA) Pre-revised

g. Rs. 67000 – 79000 (CDA) Post 01/01/2006

h. Rs. 182200 – 224100 (Level 15) CDA

The minimum length of service required in the eligible scale will be one year for internal candidates, and two years for others as of the date of the vacancy.

2. a. Applicants from the Central Government/ All India Services: They should be holding a post of the level of Additional Secretary in the Government of India or carrying the equivalent pay scale on the date of application.

2. b. Applications from the Armed forces of the Union should hold the post of the Lt. General in the Army or equivalent rank in the Navy/Air Force on the date of application.

2.c. Applicants from State Public Sector Enterprises/ Private Sector should be working at Board level position on the date of application.

Duration of Appointment for CONCOR Recruitment 2022

The appointment shall be for a period of 5 years from the date of joining or up to the date of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
