CRPF Recruitment 2022: 322 Vacancies, Check Posts, Age, Qualification, and How to Apply

CRPF Recruitment 2022: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is hiring eligible candidates to fill the Post of Head Constable GD (Male and Female). As per the CRPF Recruitment 2022 notification, there are a total of 322 vacancies available for the Posts. The selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. The selected candidate will be placed in Level- 4, salary will be between Rs. 25500 – Rs. 81100. The selection will be based on sports performance/ achievement/ trial tests as prescribed in the CRPF Recruitment 2022 notification for the recruitment of sportspersons. The standard of candidates in their respective sports/ events will be ascertained based on merit drawn after taking into consideration of last 03 years’ achievements. The posts have all India liability. On appointment, the candidates shall be governed by the CRPF Act and Rules.

The Age Limit for applying for the post is between 18 to 23 as of the closing date of receipt of the application. Eligible and desirous candidates should send their application for the CRPF Recruitment 2022 in the prescribed proforma filling up all columns on full scrap paper with two attested passport-size photographs. Applicants must send their application to the authority along with a fee of Rs. 100 (Rupees one hundred only) in the form of a Postal Order/Demand Draft from the State Bank of India drawn in favor of the Authority. Application superscribing on the envelope “APPLICATION FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF SPORTSPERSON IN CRPF AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA-2022”. An amount of Rs. 100 will be charged as an application fee from the candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories. However, no fee will be charged to candidates belonging to SC/ST community and women. Application forms should be reached within 45 days from the next day of publication of the recruitment Advertisement.

Age-Limit for CRPF Recruitment 2022:

As per the CRPF Recruitment 2022 notification, the Age Limit for applying for the post is between 18 to 23 as of the closing date of receipt of the application.

Pay Scale for CRPF Recruitment 2022:

The selected candidate will be placed in the Pay Scale Level- 4. The salary will be between Rs. 25500 – Rs. 81100 for the CRPF Recruitment 2022.

Qualification for CRPF Recruitment 2022:

As per the CRPF Recruitment 2022, the candidate should have 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University. Candidates should note that the Date of Birth and Name as recorded in the Matriculation/ Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate will only be accepted for determining the age etc. No subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted. Candidates who don’t possess the essential educational qualification as of on 31/12/2021 shall not be eligible and need not apply.

Sports Qualification

Individual event (National) Sportsperson of merit who must have won any medal in an individual event in National Games/National Championships (Both Junior & Senior) or any recognized sports meet of national repute conducted under the aegis of respective Federation/ Association recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports or conducted by the Indian Olympic Association during last three years from the date of publication of recruitment advertisement in Newspapers/websites.

Team event (National)

The team of sportsperson must have won any medal in National Games/National Championships (Both Junior & Senior) or any recognized sports meet of national repute conducted under the aegis of the respective Federation/Association recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports or conducted by the Indian Olympic Association during last three years from the date of publication of recruitment advertisement in Newspapers/websites.

Individual/Team event

(International) Sportsperson of merit who has represented the Country in any international repute championship conducted under the aegis of the respective Federation/Association during the last three years from the date of publication of recruitment advertisement in newspapers/websites

Selection Process for CRPF Recruitment 2022:

The selection will be based on sports performance/ achievement/ trial tests as prescribed in the CRPF Recruitment 2022 notification for the recruitment of sportspersons. The standard of candidates in their respective sports/events will be ascertained based on merit drawn after taking into consideration of last 03 years’ achievements.

Physical Standard Test (PST)

(a) Candidates who qualify for document verification will undergo PST as per the standards mentioned.

(b) Candidates seeking relaxation in height and chest will be required to submit the certificate as per Annexure-D regarding their community from concerned District Authorities. In the event of non-enclosure of the certificate, their claim for relaxation in height and chest shall not be entertained.

Application Fees for CRPF Recruitment 2022:

An amount of Rs. 100 will be charged as an application fee from the candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories. However, no fee will be charged to candidates belonging to SC/ST community and women as prescribed in the CRPF Recruitment 2022.

How to Apply for CRPF Recruitment 2022:

To apply for the CRPF Recruitment 2022, eligible and desirous candidates should send their application in the prescribed proforma duly typed as given filling up all columns on foolscap paper with two attested passport-size photographs. One Photograph may be affixed on the application form and another on the admit card in the space allocated for the purpose. Applicants must send their application to the authority as mentioned against each discipline along with a fee of Rs. 100 (Rupees one hundred only) in the form of a Postal Order/Demand Draft from the State Bank of India drawn in favor of the Authority. Application superscribing on the envelope “APPLICATION FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF SPORTSPERSON IN CRPF AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA-2022”. An amount of Rs. 100 will be charged as an application fee from the candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories.

Application forms should be reached within 45 days from the next day of publication of the recruitment Advertisement.

Note – Relaxation in height and chest (as the case may be) as mentioned above will be permissible only on production of certificate at the time of PST in the proforma as prescribed in Annexure-D from the competent authorities of the District where he/she ordinarily resides.
