UPSC Recruitment 2022: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is hiring candidates for Two (02) posts of Halwai-cum-cook (Canteen) on a deputation basis. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the UPSC website. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 (fifty-six) years as of the closing date of receipt of applications.
Applications not forwarded through proper channels or those received without the requisite certificates and necessary documents will be REJECTED. The last date for applying for this position is 60 days after the publication of the recruitment in the employment news.

Pay Scale- Rs. 19900-63200
(i) 10th Class passes from a recognized Board with a certificate or diploma in catering.
(ii) Two years in a Government Department or Government Undertaking.
i) To prepare snacks like bonds, butter-toast, dosa, idly, vada, paneer pakoda, samosa, math, vegetable cutlet, vegetable sandwich/pakoda etc.
ii) To prepare lunch/meals i.e, chapatti, curd, dal, puri, raita, rice, sabzi, sambar, soup, vegetable salad and sweet dishes i.e, burfi, besan burfi, coconut burfi, ladoo, pinnee, gulab-jamun, gajar-halwa, patisa and rasgulla etc.
iii) Any other additional duty allotted by the in charge of the Canteen.
The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding 56 years as of the closing date of receipt of applications.
The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 03 (three) years.
Application (in duplicate) only in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-l) of the eligible candidates whose services can be spared immediately on selection, together with the certificate from the forwarding Authority (in proforma Annexure-2 ) along with the following documents may be forwarded to Shri Amit Ghosal, Under Secretary (Admn. Il), Room No.22, Annexe Building, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069 within 60 days of publication of this advertisement in the Employment News-
(i) Integrity certificate
(ii) List of major/ minor penalties imposed if any, on the official during the last 10 years; (if no penalty has been imposed a ‘nil’ certificate should be enclosed).
(iii) Vigilance clearance certificate.
(iv) Attested photocopies of the ACRs for the last five years (2015-16 to 2019-20) (attested on each page by an officer, not below the rank of an Under Secretary to the Govt. of India).
The candidates must also apply online on the website of UPSC. Applications not forwarded through proper channels or those received without the requisite certificates and necessary documents will not be entertained.
The candidates who apply for the post will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature subsequently.
