CUJ Recruitment 2022: Check Posts, Qualification and Other Details
CUJ Recruitment 2022: Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) is hiring eligible candidates of India and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor under various departments on direct recruitment basis. There are a total of 43 vacancies for the given posts. As per CUJ Recruitment notification candidates applying will be given a monthly remuneration in pay matrix level- 14, level 13A and level 10 respectively.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of interviews. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview along with all the testimonials/certificates in original along with a valid photo ID (Aadhaar/Voter Id/Driving License/Passport). A set of self-attested photocopies of certificates/testimonials with respect to the qualifications, experience and category as applicable, indicated in the online application form, duly certified by the applicant should be submitted at the time of the interview.

The vacancies are open for Professor posts under Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Economics and Development Studies, Education, Energy Engineering, English Studies, Far East Languages, Geography, Geo-Informatics, Hindi, Life Science, Mass Communication, Mathematics, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Performing Arts, Physics, Political Science & Public Administration and Statistics.
The pay Structure for the Posts is given below as per the Official CUJ Recruitment Notification.

For Professor under Economics & Development Studies, English Studies, Geography, Life Science, Mass Communication, Mathematics, Political Science & Public Administration and Statistics department –
i. An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality,
actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journal and a total research score of 120.
ii. A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and research experience at an equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate OR
An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. degree in the relevant/allied/ disciplines, from any academic institutions (not included in A above) /industry, who has made a significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years experience.
For Associate Professor under Economics and Development Studies, Far East Languages, Geography, Geo-informatics, Hindi, Mass Communication, Mathematics and Physics-
i. A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
ii. A Master‘s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
iii. A minimum of eight years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College, or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of Seventy-five (75) as per the criteria.

As per the official notification of CUJ recruitment 2022, interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website of CUJ. Candidate shave to pay Rs. 1000 as an application fee. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD categories and Women applicants are exempted from payment of a fee. The hard copies of the following documents must reach The Recruitment Cell Central University of Jharkhand Cheri-Manatu Campus, P.O.- Kamre P.S. – Kanke, Ranchi-835222 (Jharkhand).
Documents- Self-attested copies of the certificates for age proof, qualifications, experience, caste, etc.
i. No Objection Certificate should also indicate the vigilance clearance from the parent department.
ii. NOC.
iii. Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable).
iv. Educational certificates (from matriculation onwards ).
v. Experience and other Certificates (in chronological order), duly issued by the Competent Authority.
vi. Last Pay Certificate with a breakup.
vii. The first page of the publication clearly shows the journal’s name, Title, Author, etc. (In the order as submitted in the online application form).
viii. Project/Seminars/Conferences.
ix. Ph.D. supervision (if applicable).
The online application form will be available from 14th December 2022.
The closing date for submitting the application form is 13th January 2023 till 12 pm.
Note- The Ph.D. Degree shall be a mandatory qualification for the appointment of Professor and Associate Professor.
