NOTIFICATION

Kolkata, the 8th November, 2018

S.O. 6214(E).In exercise of the power vested upon me under Section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962, I, Manish Chandra, Commissioner of Customs (Port), Kolkata, do hereby notify the area, described in the schedule below, as ustoms Area for the purpose of Off-shore Transhipment of imported goods destined for Kolkata and Haldia Ports.

SCHEDULE

2. The area of Port Meadows under the Port Authority of Andaman and Nicobar Islands has the following co- ordinates as  specified  by  the  Ministry  of Shipping  (Ports  Wing),  vide  its  Notification  No.  GSR-995(E)  dated 20^th October, 2016.

Area/Position with all waters including tidal waters and creeks enclosed by the lines joining points A, B, C, D and E as below, in sequence to cover the port limits of Port Meadow :

(A) Lat. 11 deg. 56 min and 6 Sec (North)

Long. 92 deg. 47 min and 3 sec (East)

(B) Lat. 11 deg. min and 45 Sec (North)

Long. 92 deg. 59 min and 10 sec (East)

(C) Lat. 12 deg. 8 min and 50 Sec (North)

Long  92 deg. 57 min and 30 sec (East)

(D) Lat. 12 deg. 11 min and 58 sec (North )

Long 92 deg. 56 min and 4 sec (East)

(E) Lat. 12 deg. 11 min and 7 sec (North )

Long. 92 deg. 56 min and 50 sec (East)

(3) The Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Kolkata and Haldia Ports are under the jurisdiction of Commissioner of Customs (Port)/Principal Commissioner of Customs (Port), Kolkata, vide CBEC Notification No.82/2017-Customs (N.T) dated 24^th August, 2017.
