Delhi Metro Recruitment 2023: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Ltd., a Joint Venture company with equal equity participation from the Govt. of India is hiring candidates for Deputy General Manager/ Sr. Deputy General Manager/ Joint General Manager/ Additional General Manager post. There is only 01 vacancy. As per the official notification of Delhi Metro Recruitment 2023, the age limit is between 45 years to 61 years.
According to Delhi Metro Recruitment 2023 Official Notification salary will be between Rs. 70000 to 260000. As per Delhi Metro Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the selected candidate on a Deputation basis shall continue to draw parent department pay plus deputation allowance, as applicable, under the relevant rules and the pay and emoluments for the candidate selected on a Direct Recruitment basis shall be as per the pay scales under the IDA (Industrial DA) as applicable from time to time and other benefits, which include Perks, Lease/HRA, Medical benefits, EPF, Gratuity and Insurance, etc., as per the extant rules of the Corporation. DMRC is looking for candidates for Deputy General Manager/ Sr. Deputy General Manager/ Joint General Manager/ Additional General Manager post. There is only 01 vacancy.
Age limits for Delhi Metro Recruitment 2023 are given below;
For Deputation basis:
The minimum age limit is 45 Years and the maximum age limit is 56 years
For Direct Recruitment basis:
The minimum age limit is 45 Years and the maximum age limit is 57 years
For PRCE basis:
The minimum age limit is 55 Years and the maximum age limit is 61 years
Interested candidates should have a Bachelor of Law, or, an LLB degree with a minimum of 55% marks/equivalent CGPA, from Govt. a recognized University/ Institute.
Desirable:
The candidates should have a Master’s Degree in Law.

Deputy General Manager
(a) Officer working in, or, retired (in case of PRCE only) from the CDA pay scale of Level 12 (Rs. 78800- 209200) in the pay matrix (GP- 7600), OR, in the IDA pay scale of Rs. 70000 – 200000/-, in any Govt. Organization, or, PSUs, including services put in on deputation, in the above pay scale, with a total of 09 (nine) years’ service at the Gazetted/ Executive level. (For Direct Recruitment/Deputation/PRCE basis)
OR
(b) Officer working in the CDA pay scale of Level 11 (Rs. 67700-208700) in the pay matrix (GP- 6600), OR, in the IDA pay scale of Rs. 60000 – 180000, with a minimum of 4 years service in the same grade, with a total of 09 (nine) years’ service at the Gazetted / Executive Level, in any Govt. Organizations, or, PSUs, including services put in on deputation. (For Direct Recruitment basis)
Sr. Deputy General Manager
(a) Officer working in, or, retired (in case of PRCE only) from the IDA pay scale of Rs. 80000 – 220000 in any Govt. Organization, or, PSUs, including services put in on deputation, in the above pay scale, with a total of 12 (twelve) years’ service at the Gazetted/ Executive level. (For Direct Recruitment/Deputation/PRCE basis)
OR
(b) Officer working in the CDA pay scale of Level 12 (Rs. 78800-209200) in the pay matrix (GP- 7600), OR, in the IDA pay scale of Rs. 70000 – 200000/-, with a minimum of 3 years of service in the same grade, with a total of 12 (twelve) years’ service at the Gazetted / Executive Level, in any Govt. Organizations, or, PSUs, including services put in on deputation. (For Direct Recruitment basis)
Joint General Manager
(a) Officer working in, or, retired (in case of PRCE only) from the CDA pay scale of Level 13 (Rs. 1,23,100- 215900) in the pay matrix (GP- 8700), OR, in the IDA pay scale of Rs. 90000 – 240000 in any Govt. Organizations, or, PSUs, including services put in on deputation, in the above pay scale, with a total of 15 (fifteen) years’ service at the Gazetted/ Executive level. (For Direct Recruitment/Deputation/PRCE basis)
OR
(b) Officer working in IDA pay scale of Rs. 80000 – 220000, with a minimum of 3 years service in the same grade, with a total of 15 (Fifteen) years’ service at the Gazetted / Executive Level, in any Govt. Organization, or, PSUs, including services put in on deputation. (For Direct Recruitment basis)
Additional General Manager
(a) Officer working in, or, retired (in case of PRCE only) from the CDA pay scale of Level 13A (Rs. 131100- 216600) in the pay matrix (pre-revised GP- 8900), OR, in the IDA pay scale of Rs. 100000 – 260000 in any Govt. Organization, or, PSUs, including services put in on deputation, in the above pay scale, with a total of 18 (eighteen) years’ service at the Gazetted/ Executive level. (For Direct/Recruitment/Deputation/PRCE basis)
OR
(b) Officer working in the CDA pay scale of Level 13 (Rs. 123100-215900) in the pay matrix (GP- 8700), OR, in the IDA pay scale of Rs. 90000 – 240000, with a minimum of 3 years service in the same grade, with a total of 18 (eighteen) years’ service at the Gazetted / Executive Level, in any Govt. Organization, or, PSUs, including services put in on deputation. (For Direct Recruitment basis)
As per Delhi Metro Recruitment 2023 notification salaries for the above-mentioned posts are given below;
Deputy General Manager
The salary will be between Rs. 70000 to Rs. 200000 per month.
Sr. Deputy General Manager
The salary will be between Rs. 80000 to Rs. 220000 per month.
Joint General Manager
The salary will be between Rs. 90000 to Rs. 240000 per month.
Additional General Manager
The salary will be between Rs. 100000 to Rs. 260000 per month.
The selection methodology for candidates applying on a Deputation basis and Post Retirement Contractual engagement basis will comprise of Personal Interview.
The screening methodology for candidates applying on Direct Recruitment basis will comprise Personal Interview and a Medical fitness examination.
The selection process would judge different facets of knowledge, skills, comprehension, aptitude, and physical fitness. Candidates would have to qualify/pass the Screening Process and, as required, the Medical examination, before being adjudged as suitable for selection. Candidates, who fail the prescribed medical test, will not be given any alternative employment and the decision of the Corporation shall be final on this issue.
