Department of Personnel and Training Recruitment 2022: Department of Personnel and Training (DOP&T) is a nodal agency of the Government of India for the formulation and implementation of personnel policies as well as the selection, placement and development of the human resources engaged in public service. It is increasingly being felt that there is a need to shift from mere Personnel Administration to Human Resource Management in order to meet the emerging needs in the public service.

Department of Personnel and Training has invited applications from eligible candidates for filling up of one faculty post of Deputy Director (Financial Management) and two faculty posts of Assistant Director (English Stenography & Typing) in Secretariat Training and Management Institute, New Delhi on a deputation basis. The age limit should not be 56 years of age as on the last date of receipt and the advertisement issued date is 18th August 2022.

1. Deputy Director Financial Manager (01 Vacancy)

Pay Scale: Level 11 (Rs.67700 to Rs.208700)

Eligible Category: Officer Working in Central Government.

2. Assistant Director English Stenography and Typing (02 Vacancies)

Pay Scale: Level 8 (Rs.47600 to Rs.151100)

Eligible Category: (i) Group B Officers of Central Secretariat Service. (ii) Stenographer under Central Government.

Post-Wise Job Role and Pay Scale for Department of Personnel and Training Recruitment 2022

1. Deputy Director Financial Manager

Pay Scale: Pay Matrix in Level 11 in Pay (Rs.67700 to Rs.208700), Pay Band 3: (Rs.15600 to Rs.39100) Grade Pay Rs.6600.

Brief Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

1. To prescribe, organize and direct training programs for officers at the level of supervision and operation of the Central and State Governments and autonomous bodies etc.

2. Presentation of trained material, subject studies, practical experience etc. and assisting the Director of the Institute in administrative work and training matters.

Age: Applicant must be new above 56 years of age as on the last date of receipt.

2. Assistant Director English Stenography and Typing

Pay Band: Pay Level 8 (Rs.47600 to Rs.151100) Under Pay Matrix Pay {Pre revised pay band 3 (Rs.9300 to Rs.34800)}

Brief Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

1. To declare training programs for senior and supervising and operational level officers of the Central and State Governments and Union Territories and Public Sector Undertakings and Autonomous Bodies etc. as scheduled events.

2. To develop training material subject related studies etc.

3. Develop e-content, instructional framework and curriculum design.

4. To conduct training sessions, research activities and consultancy work.

5. To assist the Director of the Institute in matters relating to administration and training, as the case may be assigned.
