DGFT amends Import Policy of ITC (HS) Codes

DGFT amends Import Policy of ITC (HS) Codes The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) vide Notification No. 01/2015-2020 dated 29th April 2022 amends Import Policy of ITC (HS) Codes. The Notification is Given Below: S.O.(E): In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with Section 5 of FT (D&R) Act, 1992, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby amends the import policy of ITC (HS) Codes under tariff head 7112 under Chapter 71 of ITC (HS), 2022, Schedule - I (Import Policy), with immediate effect, as under: Effect of Notification : Import Policy of ITC (HS) Code 7112 30 00, 7112 91 00, 7112 92 00, 7112 99 10, 7112 99 20 and 7112 99 90 has been revised from "Free" to "Restricted" with immediate effect.
