DGFT Amends Import policy of Urea; Import of Urea is allowed through IPL till 31.03.2023 The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) vide Notification No. 65/2015-2020 dated 1st April 2022 amends import policy condition of Urea [Exim Code 31021000] in the ITC (HS) 2022, Schedule – I (Import Policy). The Notification is Given Below: S.O. 1559(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 and Section 5 of FT (D&R) Act, 1992, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby amends the policy condition of Urea [EXIM code 31021000] of Chapter 31 of ITC (HS), 2022, Schedule – I (Import Policy), with immediate effect, as under :— 2. Effect of this Notification: Import of Urea on Government account is allowed through Indian Potash Limited (IPL) subject to Para 2.20 of Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, till 31.03.2023.
