DGFT notifies Amendment in Export Policy of Onions The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) notified amendment in the Export Policy of Onions via issuing a Notification. The Notification Read as follows: In the exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, the Central Government hereby amends Notification No. 49 dt. 07.12.2023 regarding Export Policy of Onions in Chapter 07 of Schedule 2 of the ITC (HS) Export Policy, as under: Provisions under Para-3 of Notification No. 49 dt. 07.12.2023 remains unchanged. Effect of this Notification: Export prohibition on the export of onions under HS Code 0703 10 19 valid till 31st March 2024 is extended until further orders.
