DOT Recruitment 2023: The Department of Telecommunications (DOT) is looking for applications from retired government servants, retired officers, and officials of PSUs or research organizations for the engagement of consultants at the JTO level and AD level (Group B) on a contract basis. There are a total of 02 vacancies available for the mentioned post. As informed in the official notification of DOT Recruitment 2023, candidates should be retired from the CDA scale with a minimum substantive grade of level 7 of the 7th CPC or equivalent IDA scale or holding an analogous post or above for the post of consultant at the JTO level, and candidates should be retired from the CDA scale with a minimum substantive grade of level 8 of the 7th CPC or equivalent IDA scale or holding an analogous post or above for the post of consultant at AD level.
In accordance with the official notification of DOT Recruitment 2023, the tenure period of the appointment on a contractual basis is 6 months, which is extendable for another 6 months, or 65 years of age. The candidate’s age should not be more than 64 years of age on the last date of application. To apply for DOT Recruitment 2023, the selection is based on telephonic or online interviews held by the panel. As indicated in the official notification of DOT Recruitment 2023, the maximum age of the candidates should not be more than 64 years of age on the last date of application.
In accordance with the official notification of DOT Recruitment 2023, candidates who are selected for these posts will get the monthly consolidated fee or remuneration payable to the retired persons engaged as consultants, which shall be in accordance with the Department of Expenditure OM No. 3-25/2020-E. III A, dated 09-12-2020, endorsed by DoT letter No.1-3(01)/2021-PAT, dated 08-02-2021, and No.3-10/2014-SEA-I/Fin, dated 28/03/2022 (copy at Annexure B) and as amended from time to time. The amount of remuneration so fixed shall remain unchanged for the term of the contract. There will be no annual increment or percentage increase during the contract period.
Referring to the official notification of DOT Recruitment 2023, the nature of the appointment is contractual for a period of 6 months, which is extendable further 6 terms of 6 months or 65 years of age or posting of regular staff which is earlier.
In the official notification of DOT Recruitment 2023, candidates will be selected on the basis of telephonic/ online Interviews. A selection panel shall be constituted for this purpose, and it will be valid for a period of 6 months. The panel will be drawn after scrutiny of applications and supporting documents telephonic/online interviews and willingness to work.
Based on the official notification of DOT Recruitment 2023, candidates who meet all eligibility criteria can fill out the application form in the prescribed format and send it along with the required documents to the Director (Admin), O/O Special DGT, Delhi Licensed Service Area, 5th floor, MTNL Telephone Exchange Building, Nehru Place, New Delhi-110019, within 21 days from 14-11-2023.
