Post Name and Vacancies for DOT Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of DOT Recruitment 2023, there are 05 vacancies open for the post of Consultant (01 Consultant JTO and 01 Consultant AD at Pune, 01 Consultant JTO and 02 Consultant AD at Nagpur).

Age Limit for DOT Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of DOT Recruitment 2023, candidates should not be more than 62 years as on the closing date of the application.

Salary for DOT Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of DOT Recruitment 2023, the consolidated salary will be paid to the retired persons engaged as consultants shall be in accordance with the Department of Expenditure OM No.3-25/2020-E. III A dated 09-12- 2020 endorsed by DoT letter No.1-2(01)/2021-PAT dated 08-02-2021 and DoT O.M. No.3-10/2014-SEA-I/Fin dated 28/03/2022 for retired PSU employees (typically Rs. 27,450/- + transports Allowance for AD post and Rs. 25,875/- + transport allowance for JTO post) and as amended from time to time. The amount of remuneration so fixed shall remain unchanged for the term of the contract. There will be no annual increment/percentage increase during the contract period.

Eligibility Criteria for DOT Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of DOT Recruitment 2023, the required eligibility criteria are listed below-

• For Consultant as JTO at Level 7 as per the 7th CPC– Retired from CDA scale with Minimum substantive grade of level 7 of the 7 CPC or equivalent IDA scale or holding analogous post or above (Including BSNL VRS optee).
• For Consultant as AD at Level 8 as per the 7th CPC– Retired from CDA scale with Minimum substantive grade of level 8 of the 7″ CPC or equivalent IDA scale or holding analogous post or above(Including BSNL VRS optee).
• Preference will be given to applicants from DoT/BSNL/MTNL backgrounds.
• The applicant should be well aware of the functioning of Central Government Departments/Ministries and aware of various rules and regulations of the Central Government.

Tenure for DOT Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of DOT Recruitment 2023, the assignment is made on a contract basis and the selected candidates will be engaged for a period of 06 months but may be extended further up to a maximum of six terms. (Six months each) on or 65 years of age or posting of regular staff whichever is earlier based on the candidate’s performance and requirements of this office. The selected candidates will be posted at Pune and Nagpur.

Selection Process for DOT Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of DOT Recruitment 2023, the selection will be based on an interview. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. Candidates are advised to carry relevant documents at the time of the interview. The decision of the department in the matter of selection of consultants will be final and binding upon the applicants.
