Post Name and Vacancies for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is inviting applications from highly qualified and competent technologists to fill up the posts of Project Scientist ‘F’, Scientist ‘D’, Scientist ‘C’, and Scientist ‘B’ for tenure based purely on a contractual basis. There are 55 vacancies for this recruitment drive.

Tenure for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the applicant will be appointed on a contract basis initially for 03 years which may be extended depending upon the performance of the Project Scientist and if the requirement exists.

Qualification for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the DRDO Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualification.

Project Scientist ‘F’

• Computer Science and Engineering

1. Candidate should have at least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent.
2. Candidate should have a minimum of 10 Years of working experience in Design and development in the field of application software development with programming languages( C, C++) and scripting languages (Python/Perl/Bash). Including, Project management of computer networks with security features.

Desirable

Candidate should have a master’s degree in a relevant discipline.

Project Scientist ‘D’

• Computer Science and Engineering

1. Candidate should have at least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent
2. Candidate should have a minimum of 5 Years experience in AI/ML, RDBMS, GIS, computer networking, programming language, scripting language, software engineering, computer graphics, SQA, and algorithm analysis.

Desirable

1. Candidate should have a master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
2. Experience in the Fusion of multi-sensors big data.

• Mechanical Engineering

1. Candidate should have at least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent.
2. Candidate should have a minimum of 5 Years of experience in the field of design or development of Mechanical / Aero Systems / Integration / Assembly and servicing of Material Handling equipment / Assembly, Integration and QA / QC of Mechanical systems/design and fabrication of mechanical system.

Desirable

Candidate should have a master’s degree in a relevant discipline.

Project Scientist ‘C’

• Computer Science and Engineering

1. Candidate should have at least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent.
2. Candidate should have a minimum of 3 Years of working experience in MATLAB/SIMULINK.

Desirable

1. Candidate should have a master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
2. Independent Verification and Validation (V&V)/Artificial Intelligence / Object-oriented design.

• Electrical Engineering

1. Candidate should have at least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent.
2. Candidate should have a minimum of 3 Years of working experience in Electrical Integration of Sub-Systems.

Desirable

1. Candidate should have a master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
2. Design, development, assembly, integration, and testing of Electrical systems

Project Scientist ‘B’

• Electronics and Communication Engineering

Candidate should have at least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent.

Desirable

1. Candidate should have a master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
2. Candidate should have a Valid GATE score.
3. Candidate should have Upto 3 Years experience in MATLAB/SIMULINK

Age Limit for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for Project Scientist ‘F’ post is 55 years, for Project Scientist ‘D’ post the maximum age limit is 45 years, for Project Scientist ‘C’ post the maximum age limit is 40 years and for Project Scientist ‘B’ post it will be 30 years.

Salary for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the selected applicant will get a consolidated pay between Rs.220717 to Rs.90789 per month.

Application Fee for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS male categories are required to pay a non-refundable non-transferable application fee of Rs. 100 payable online only while filling form. There is no application fee for SC/ST/Divyang and Women candidates.

Selection Procedure for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, candidates will be selected on the basis of a Personal Interview.
