DRDO Recruitment 2023: Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is inviting interested and eligible candidates for the post of Scientist ‘B’ in various disciplines. As mentioned in the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, there are 181 vacancies for the mentioned position. The educational qualification is different for each discipline. The candidates selected for the mentioned position will get a monthly pay scale in Level-10 (7th CPC) of the pay Matrix (Rs.56100). The total emoluments at the time of joining will be approximately Rs.100000 per month. The maximum age limit for applying for the mentioned position is 28 to 33 years. The candidates should have relevant experience in their relevant disciplines.
According to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, interested candidates can apply online by filling out the application form available on the official website of DRDO and submitting it to the same website. The applicable candidates will be selected on the basis of merit and interview conducted by the committee. As per the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the candidates have to submit the online application form on or before the last date of the submission. Electronics and Communication Engineering:
The candidates should have a first-class bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.
The candidates should have a valid GATE score in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Mechanical Engineering:
The candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.
The candidates should have a valid GATE score in Mechanical Engineering.
Computer Science and Engineering:
The candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.
The candidates should have a valid GATE score in Computer Science and Information Technology.
Electrical Engineering:
The candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University.
The candidates should have a valid GATE score in Electrical Engineering.
Material Engineering/ Material Science and Engineering/ Metallurgical Engineering:
The candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Metallurgy from a recognized university or equivalent.
The candidates should have a valid GATE score in Metallurgical Engineering.

According to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the applicable candidates will be selected on the basis of interviews conducted by the committee. The shortlisted candidates on the basis of the GATE scores will be required to appear in the Personal Interview to be held at Delhi or any other place as decided by RAC/ DRDO. The exact dates of the interview will be finalized later by RAC and communicated to candidates.
