Essential Qualifications and Experience for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

For Scientist C in Radiology:

• Candidates should have a medical qualification included in the First Schedule the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). • Candidates must have 7 years of practical and administrative experience in the required field of radiology.

For Scientist D in Nuclear Medicine:

• Candidates should have a medical qualification included in the First Schedule the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of medical qualifications included in Part II of the said Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the said Act.
• Candidates should have a post-graduate degree in nuclear medicine.
• Candidates must have three years of practical and administrative experience in the required field of nuclear medicine.

Age Limit for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the age limits are given below:

For Scientist C in Radiology:

• The candidate’s maximum age limit for this post should not exceed 50 years old.

For Scientist D in Nuclear Medicine:

• The candidate’s maximum age limit for this post should not exceed 40 years old.

The upper age limit shall be relaxed to candidates from the SC, ST and OBC (NCL) categories as per government rules.

Pay Scale for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

• The selected candidates will get Pay level 12 (Basic pay of Rs. 78800) as per 7th CPC

For Scientist D in Nuclear Medicine:

Application Fees for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

In order to apply for DRDO Recruitment 2023, candidates who belong to general, OBC, or EWS categories have to pay a non-refundable, non-transferable application fee of Rs. 100. There is no application fee for SC/ST/Divyang and women candidates.

Mode of Selection for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the selection is based on the interview. First, DRDO conducts a preliminary interview (10–15 minutes), and then shortlists candidates for a personal interview. The final selection is based on a personal interview. The candidates must score a minimum of 75% marks (i.e., 75 out of 100) for all vacancies in the final personal interview for consideration for selection.
