DRDO Recruitment 2024: The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is inviting interested and eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow and Research Associate. In reference to the official announcement of DRDO Recruitment 2024, there are 03 vacancies available for the mentioned positions. The candidates applying for the post of Junior Research Fellow should have First Class B.E/ B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (approved by AICTE/ UGC) and GATE Qualified with a valid Score and the candidates applying for the post of Research Associate should have a PhD in Communication (approved by AICTE/ UGC). The candidates selected for the post of JRF will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.37000 and the candidates selected for the post of RA will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.67000.
In reference to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2024, the maximum age limit for applying for the post of JRF is 28 years and for RA is 35 years. The tenure of the appointment will remain in work for an appropriate period of 02 years. The applicable candidates will be selected on the basis of a walk-in interview conducted by the committee. No TA/ DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the selection procedure. The tenure for DRDO Recruitment 2024 will be based on a contract. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) will be initially awarded for a period of 02 years. This may be upgraded as Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) for a period of one year and further SRF may again be extended for a period of one more year based on performance. RA fellowship is for 02 years only.
